YARD WORKS
The yards are equipped to carry all types of works to the high standards expected by boat owners. Yachts may be hauled out by five different methods depending on their size and type. The following are the current facilities available:
Mobile Hoists with lifting capacities up to 45 Tons
Cranes adapted for boat lifting with capacities up to 50Tons
Slipways which can accommodate vessels up to 60m in length, 500 Ton displacement and 3.9m Draught.
Floating docks that can accommodate up to 68m in Length, 750 Ton displacements and 4m Draught.
Dry docking available for vessels exceeding the above dimensions.
Facilities are available for:
-Timber, steel, aluminum and GRP. Hull repairs
-Overhauling of main and auxiliary engines
-Electrical and electronic installations and repairs
-Gyro compass repairs and service
-Compass swinging carried out by professionally trained personnel.
-Steel hulls may be grit blasted to S.A 2.5 Finish.
-GRP Hulls can be blasted and water jet blasted prior to Osmosis treatment.
-Osmosis treatment.
-Propeller repairs, pitching, re-bushing and balancing.
-Shaft removal and alignment.-Life Raft Servicing,
-Spray and brush painting under cover
-Renewal of teak decks and re-caulking under cover
