Being onboard a sailing boat will enable you to experience the backdrop of the Maltese islands from an altogether different perspective.
LEARNING TO SAIL WITH BLUE SAIL
If you have never set foot on a sailing boat and would like to immerge yourself into the fascinating world of sailing, then a BlueSail course is designed to set you off on just the right track. Sailing is a sport which can be enjoyed by everyone; young and old alike and it is never too late to take up this exhilarating pastime.
BlueSail courses are also ideal for those who have gone for the occasional sail yet would like to improve their skills with some structured training.
Certificates are awarded to all students who complete a course successfully.
OUR INSTRUCTORS
Our qualified instructors are chosen not only for their skills in sailing and teaching, but also for their passion for the sport. This ensures that you will be exposed to the true spirit of sailing. The approach used by our instructors is very friendly and informal, with a constant emphasis being placed on the fun and humorous side of sailing. Our approach towards sailing tuition ensures that your sailing experience with us will be as uniquely enjoyable as much as it is instructive.
YACHT SAILING
Our Yacht Sailing courses will take you through a structured practical programme on board a fully equipped sailing yacht. Our courses are unique in that you will have personal one-to-one tuition from a qualified instructor. Should you wish to have any guests accompanying you, or undertaking the course with you, you may do so, at no extra cost whatsoever, up to a maximum of 4 persons.
Our Yacht Sailor course spans over 16 hours and it will enable you to reach a skill level where you will be able of safely sailing a yacht yourself, without the assistance of an instructor, given that conditions are reasonable enough. You can choose to split this course into 8 or 4 hour sessions.
Topics covered : Boating and sailing terminology, Wind awareness, Hoisting, un/furling & reefing sails, Sailing on all points of sail, Sail setting, Tacking & gybing, Picking up a buoy / Anchoring, Reading marine charts, Using a VHF, Ropework, Elementary rules of the road, Things to consider when buying a yacht.
The shorter course of 8 hours leads to a Competent Crew level, whilst the 4 hour course covers Introductory Yachting.
Yacht Sailor (16 Hours): Euro 582.34 + V.A.T for 2 pax (min charge).
And 291.17 + V.A.T per extra person up to a max. of 4 pax
Competent Crew (8 Hours): Euro 302.82 + V.A.T for 2 pax (min charge).
And 151.41 + V.A.T per extra person up to a max. of 4 pax
Introductory Yachting (4 Hours): Euro 209.64 + V.A.T for 2 pax (min
charge). And 104.82 + V.A.T per extra person up to a max. of 4 pax

GROUP SAILING ACTIVITIES
Group sailing activities are intended to serve the dual role of enabling participants to enjoy and experience the exhilaration of sailing whilst also promoting team building.
Typical programmes for group activities range from a brief introduction to sailing followed by a friendly competition on sailing yachts for corporate clients.
