The company was among the first to use cold rolling techniques to produce its stainless steel products, using machinery and production methods developed in house. Douglas Marine supplies high quality mooring aids and equipment, including the Master Mooring series of noiseless mooring springs suitable for boats from 7 to 900 tonnes, the Chain Boy, designed to help stow chain perfectly and innovative tools like the Trapper: an ostensibly simple device to easily handle mooring lines just picked up off the bottom, and then to hang them over the side of the boat so the deck stays clean.

The company also produces a range of anchor-chain swivel connectors that are suitable for asymmetric anchors up to 180kg, a range of accessories to make life on board more comfortable and stainless steel terminations for stainless steel wire rigging.
